I had my car towed to Chip's Auto on the 20th of May due to the accelerator not working properly. We were told it was the cam sensors, and that they would be replaced as well as some spark plugs. When we picked the car up on the 23rd, the problem happened again about 20 minutes after leaving the repair shop. We called and they had it towed at no charge back. We were then told the sensors from the shop were no good and it needed and new TPS. So, he supposedly repaired those parts and we then picked up the car again on the 4th of June. We drive about 10 minutes from the shop and the same problem occurs again. At this point, we decided to try our luck driving it to the dealer. After the dealership looked at it, it seems that the cam sensors were not replaced, and the spark plugs were very low quality. We then had to pay again for the dealer to repair what Chip's told us had already been done. They also found that the sensors were not in fact the issue at all. So, all in all, we paid Chip's almost $800 for work that look as if it was never completed. We now have to pay the dealer to fix these same problems and the additional actual issue as well. I have now been without my car for going on 3 weeks due to the lack of work done at Chip's and I am thousands of dollars in repair work. I will never go to this shop again, nor refer anyone to use them in the future.

Chips auto is great! I am from pa and just recently moved here so I was looking for a good honest mechanic he came highly recommend and did not disappoint. I had purchased a truck off a sales lot and got ripped off chips replaced the engine and had it back to me a week faster than they originally said truck ru a great and very very satisfied with their work I will be returning for any future repairs. Everyone down there is very nice and he does not try to rip you off he is honest upfront about everything normally I would do my own work but with working so much glad I have someone I can trust to take my vehicles too. Thank you all again!
I'm so glad we found Chip's automotive. Our last mechanic moved out of state and we were afraid we wouldn't be able to find an honest mechanic nearby. We took in our old car in to Chip's last minute, and he was not only honest but also gave us great service during his busy schedule. Thank you, we'll be back again!
